Refund policy

We strive to offer you the best possible second-hand shopping experience. Each preloved item is inspected before it is listed for sale. We do our best to accurately describe and photograph the items true to colour.

If you decide that an item isn't quite the right fit for you, please visit your returns page to process a return request. Important notes: 

  • Returns are accepted for store credit only
  • We offer a 14-day return window for all orders. Simply request your return within 7 days of delivery, and you’ll have an additional 7 days to ship the item back once your label is provided
  • Customers are responsible for:
    • $27.90 return fees if your original order value falls below the threshold for free shipping due to the return(s), or otherwise
    • $15.00 return fee if the original order is below the free shipping threshold
  • For click & collect:
    • Order must be collected within 14 days of the order being placed
    • Any order that is still not collected after 14 days are strictly not eligible for returns / exchange, as the seller will have been paid for the sale
    • Return accepted in exchange for store credit
    • Items must be returned on the same day when they are collected
  • Handbags, accessories, and any items sold for less than $15 are treated as final sale and strictly non-returnable
  • Strictly no returns will be accepted for orders with delivery addresses located outside of Australia
  • Return requests that are incomplete or invalid cannot be processed


All returns must be returned using a return label issued by SwapUp. In exchange, we will issue you with store credit through SwapUp e-giftcard, excluding any shipping amount paid on the initial order, discounts, and the applicable return cost.


For example, if a customer place an order for one item totalling $90.00 + $11.90 shipping, and she decides to return the item, then she will receive an e-giftcard of $75 in value, once the item has been received and inspected. Returned items must strictly be in the same condition as when shipped.

Kindly note that SwapUp does not offer refunds for change-of-mind returns.
 
Return Requirements:
  • To qualify for a refund, all items must be in the same condition in which you received them (New with Tags items must be returned with original tags attached)
  • Original shipping charge is not refunded when returning items
  • You cannot claim any more benefit than the amount paid for the item, as we do not refund promotions and discounts
  • Final sale items are not returnable.
