Which one should I choose?
- It depends on the number of items you're looking to sell and where you are located.
- If you have a few items and live in Sydney, order a SwapUp Pass. Otherwise, please order a SwapUp Kit.
Will my items be displayed online or in-store?
- SwapUp Kits items are display online, while SwapUp Pass items are displayed in-store
- Some exceptions may apply e.g. designer items
How much will I earn?
Payout varies depending on the item selling price (after GST):
💰 up to $29.99 -> 15%
💰 $30.00 - $49.99 -> 25%
💰 $50.00 - $99.99 -> 35%
💰 $100.00 - $199.99 -> 50%
💰 above $200.00 -> 60%
How much you earn in total really depends on the items that you are bringing in. Read our Style Guide to find out what's trending.
Unfortunately, a $10 item requires the same level of efforts as a $50 item for us. That's why you'll earn less on lower value items, but much more on higher value ones.
The amount that SwapUp keeps helps us pay our staff (unlike op shops, we're not run by volunteers!) and covers the costs of sorting, listing, photographing, storage, marketing and shipping of all items.
Your payout may be reversed if an item is returned.
